Ronnie Jewell

Ronnie Jewell has been an instructor in the English / Communications Department since 1993. He received his B.A. in English / Education from High Point University in North Carolina, and received his M.A. in English from Western Michigan University.

Ron teaches English 091, 101, 102, and American Literature. He believes that writing and analytical thinking are skills that all students can master with a little plain hard work.

Ron grew up in Virginia and North Carolina. His hobbies include reading, playing the piano, and collecting rare memorabilia from the seventies.
