Scapino!

By Frank Dunlop and Jim Dale

Mar. 25-28, 7:30 pm and March 29, 3 pm: SCAPINO! by Frank Dunlop and Jim Dale, directed by Jim Sommerfeldt. Taking very loosely the plot of Moliere’s “Les Fourberies de Scapin,” adding a touch of the Italian Commedia Dell’ Arte, a bit of the 60’s audience involvement and a lot of frolicking and mischievous behavior, “Scapino!” blends the old and the new together. Recommended for ages 12 and up.

Learn more about “Scapino!” by joining MCC instructor Bill Jacobks in the continuing education course “The Comedic, Human Nature and Ideas of Social Justice” exploring how comedy tells us about our deepest selves. February through March, one evening a week for four weeks, $10 plus purchase of books, call 231-777-0348 for registration information.
