College Success Seminar provides the student with an overview of everything a student needs to be aware of in order to be successful. Topics include but are not limited to: the role of the student, weakness of the will, back-up plans, time management, academic writing, handling stress, how to take good notes, how to get the most out of reading a textbook, how to use the library effectively, writing a resume', test-taking strategies and more! Already know how to take notes and how to read a textbook? We'll show you strategies to enhance your skills that are more effective and efficient. Have questions? Course Description

CSS 100 College Success Seminar --2 Cr. Hrs. -- 2 Contact Hrs. This course helps develop and reinforce the skills, abilities, and behaviors that promote academic and personal success: effective note taking, productive study skills, reading and remembering, critical thinking, library skills, basic computer skills, free career and job resources, stress management, relationships and winning attitudes.
